Reactions have trailed Nollywood actress Christabel Egbenya’s recent post on her verified Instagram page.

The movie star while celebrating her first wedding anniversary, decided to share photos of herself, husband and daughter, but she intentionally cropped off the man’s face before posting.

Praying for her marriage, Christabel Egbenya eulogized her husband, adding that she’s very happy to be called his wife.

“On this day last year November 2021. I got a special gift from God. Love is the most precious thing you gave me in my whole life my darling husband,I love you not just for who you are but how you make me feel, my whole life revolves around you like all the planets revolve around the sun. You are my sun, you gave me light when the hour was darkest. I love you. May we always remain like this. Our marriage may have many bumpy rides and different obstacles but we have always faced every hardship together. This is why our relationship is so strong. I love you with my life. I am very happy to be your wife. I don’t want our marriage to be pictured as a perfect marriage but an adventurous beginning that two people took of finding love! Happy anniversary to us and thank God for blessing us with a beautiful daughter ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️happy one year anniversary to us once more,” she wrote.

Following up, the excited actress appreciated all who wished her well and celebrated her one year wedding anniversary, but what caught people’s attention more was the cropped photos that she posted.

“Thank you very much for your sweet wishes on our anniversary! Your kind words and loving thoughts just made our day amazing. Smile, happiness, and I say a big amen to all your lovely prayers. May God bless you all,” she added.

In reaction to this, her colleagues took to the comment section of the post to mock her for cropping off her husband’s face from the photos.
