Davido set to perform at World Cup closing ceremony
Afrobeat superstar, David Adeleke, aka Davido, is set to perform at the 2022 World Cup closing ceremony in Qatar.
Davido, who has avoided social media and events since the death of his son, Ifeanyi, with the exception of his uncle, Ademola Adeleke’s, inauguration ceremony in Osun State, has confirmed that he will perform in Qatar.
Stephen Hung, a Chinese businessman, announced the news on Thursday via his Instagram story.
He wrote:
So happy my bro #davido confirmed he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there.
The World Cup’s closing ceremony is billed to take place on December 18.
