Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin, Orenze, others nominated for 2023 Headies

The highly anticipated Headies Awards 2023 nominations have been unveiled, and the Best Inspirational Single category features a star-studded lineup of talented gospel artists.

Prominent names such as Nathaniel Bassey, Victoria Orenze, and Dunsin Oyekan have been recognized for their exceptional musical contributions in inspiring listeners with their soul-stirring songs.

The Headies Awards, known for celebrating excellence in the Nigerian music industry, made the much-awaited announcement of the Best Inspirational Single category nominees via their official social media platforms.

The prestigious accolades have recognized artists who have touched hearts and uplifted spirits through their music.

Nathaniel Bassey and Mercy were nominated for their awe-inspiring track, “Tobechukwu.” Additionally, Neon Adejo received a nomination for his uplifting single, “Eze Ebube,” while Limoblaze, Legrae, and Happi Music’s collaboration, “Jireh,” also secured a spot on the list.

Among the esteemed nominees is Davido, who earned recognition for his powerful single titled “Stand Strong.”

Other talented artists such as Victoria Oreze, with her uplifting song “I Get Backing,” as well as Victor Thompson and Ehis D Greatest, with their soul-stirring track “This Year,” were acknowledged for their remarkable contributions to the genre.

One of the nominated artists, Neon Adejo, couldn’t contain his excitement and took to Twitter to share his joy, exclaiming, “Yeeeeeeeeh, Me???????”
