Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has called out her colleague Angela Okorie over recent comments regarding fellow actress Mercy Johnson’s health.

During a recent Instagram Live session, Angela claimed she had forgiven Mercy after hearing about her alleged health struggles.

The two actresses have not been on good terms. Angela said, “Recently, I heard that Mercy Johnson is not feeling well, and I honestly feel for her. I want the best for her. For real, the kind of illness they told me she has is not something I would ever wish on even my enemies. And today, I’ve forgiven her. I don’t want to say anything else concerning her. Sometimes, these bloggers can really be crazy.”

In response to Angela’s statement, Regina took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to condemn her comments, calling them insensitive. 

Regina expressed strong support for Mercy Johnson, stating that she stands firmly by her and sees no reason for Angela to speak of forgiveness.

She wrote, “I’m sorry, and with all due respect, Aunty Angela… Please don’t forgive, because here we don’t forgive. Keep going, and while you’re at it, don’t forget she has a child to take care of. Don’t talk nonsense!”

Mercy has since dispelled rumors that she is battling cancer.
