Nollywood director Wasiu Onitilo is dead. Femi Ogundoro, the founder and CEO of the entertainment company, Maxima, announced Onitilo’s passing in a Facebook post. On Sunday, the film director passed away. The reason for his passing, though, is yet unknown. Soso Soberekon, a music executive, has thought back on his worst regret in life, which he claims was not signing dancehall artist Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, nicknamed Patoranking, and vocalist Teni Apata when he had the chance. On an Instagram question and answer live session, the music mogul was replying to a question from a fan. The follower had inquired as to what his greatest regret in life was and he said his unwillingness to sign now star singers, Teni and Patoranking. He went on to say that Patoranking would frequently ride an Okada (motorcycle) from Ikorodu/Ebute Meta in Lagos to meet him and urge him to sign him, but he didn’t. Soberekon continued by saying that he later signed another musician who Patoranking is now 100 times bigger than, and that this caused him a great loss. -
