The Glo-CAF 2016 Awards held yesterday night at the Nixon Hilton Hotel with the red carpet hosted by Joselyn Dumas and comedian, Gordons,
The show itself was hosted by Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo and journalist, Mimi Fawaz.
Numerous celebrities and stars graced the award night, which saw Riyad Mahrez from Algeria being crowned the African Player of the Year. However, the trio of Assisat Oshoala, who emerged the Women’s Player of the year, Alex Iwobi, who won the awards for the Youth Player of the Year and Kelechi Ihenacho, who was the Most Promising Talent of the year made Nigeria proud.
