On Air Personality and author,Toke Makinwa has finally spoken on her pending court case with her estranged hubby, Maje Ayida.

The ”On Becoming” author has been going on tours to promote her book regardless of the court papers served to her by Maje’s lawyer.
In her latest Vlog titled ‘Daddy Issues’ which she shot during her recent ‘On Becoming’ tour in London, Toke said; ”As you guys might have heard, there’s a lot going on in the news and the little that I have, let’s just hope I have it after a while. For all the people that reached out to me, my lawyers are on it, I don’t think you have anything to worry about, that’s all I’ll say”

Maje Ayida took legal action against his estranged wife, Toke Makinwa, over her memoir titled ‘On Becoming’. According to him, it is a tell-it- all book that contains defamatory words. The fitness expert has ordered his lawyers, Kemi Pinheiro (SAN) of Pinheiro LP, to begin legal proceedings at the Lagos Judicial Division of the High Court. The publishers of the memoir, Kachifo Limited, were  not left out as they were also sued alongside the On-Air Personality.

Ayida is demanding N100m in damages in the suit which was filed February 7.

He has however, requested that the money be awarded to four charities which he will nominate.

The pair got married in January 2014, after being together for close to 12 years.
