Fashion has always been and will continue to be an integral part of the world of glamour. It has continued to be celebrated from generation to generation, exerting itself as a high pillar in the socio-economic sphere of the world. With every coming generation, fashion has evolved, setting new trends and recycling old designs to meet new tastes in style.
The evolution of glamour and style came to the fore at ‘LUXE MEETS MODEST BY LUXURY FEYI’, an event held recently at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, as part of the 75th birthday celebration of the matriarch of Nigerian fashion, Princess Abah Folawiyo.  The show, put together by Nigerian and United Kingdom based fashion designer, Feyisola Adeyemi, the brain behind the Luxury by Feyi label, was also to launch her first LUXE MEETS MODEST collection.
The collection featured hand-made, well-tailored, exquisite designs. The white, pink and black collection ranged from creative cutting-edge floral gowns and dresses to classy ready-to-wear ensembles.
Some of the prominent personalities who graced the fashion soiree include Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, Sola Shobowale, Susan Peters, Mrs. Funmi Ajila Ladipo, Mrs. Annie Idibia, Ifeoma Williams, Doyin Adeyemi, Ronke Ademiluyi, Mrs. Kemi Adewunmi, Ayo Van Elmar, Amira Ibrahim Alfa, Torah Olaiya and more.
