Osun 2018: Mercy Aigbe’s estranged husband, Lanre Gentry declares for governorship race

Estranged husband of Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, Asiwaju Olanrewaju Gentry, wants to become the governor of Osun State. He has declared his intention to vie for the Sept. 22 governorship election.
Gentry made the declaration on via his official Instagram page.
According to the pictures posted on his page, he will be running under the platform of United Democratic Party,UDP.
He, however did not disclose reason(s) for joining the governorship race which has Lasun Yussuff, the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives as one of the candidates.
