How to lose belly fat fast

When you find yourself tucking your belly when dressed in gowns or jeans to strike a pose for photos, it is because you have belly fat.

As embarrassing as it is, belly fat also has health implications of contacting heart diseases, diabetes and obesity.

The good news is that you can get rid of belly fats and here is how:

1. Increase your protein intake from fish to eggs, beans, nuts, meat, and dairy products. Carbohydrates easily gets digested while protein takes a longer time to digest. Protein reduces food cravings.

2. Ensure you drink more water

In a bid to maintain a balanced pH level, the body locks in water whenever you are dehydrated. This explains why you feel bloated and puffy around your belly region. That is why you need to drink water and stay hydrated at all times if you are really serious about losing that stubborn belly fat.

3. Exercise regularly

Exercise does not only keeps your body fit, it also keeps your mind alert. To reduce your belly fat, there are a number of exercises you can try out – crunches, planks, bicycle exercise, and vertical leg raises.

4. Have sufficient sleep

Making sure that you don’t give into your late night cravings, a good night of sleep ensure that your insulin levels stay balanced and the hormones responsible for satiation (leptin) and hunger (ghrelin) work just right.
