Smell Good All Day Long

When we want to make a good impression, our first instinct is to dress nicely and work on making sure we look presentable. But, what about how you smell? Smelling good can be just as important in making an excellent impression.

Sometimes, it can be difficult to smell good all day when we are more prone to sweating, especially with the prevailing heat in this part of the world. Taking steps to prevent sweat can be your first step in smelling good.

Apply Antiperspirant At Night
Our top tip for applying antiperspirant is to apply it at night instead of in the morning. Nighttime application gives the formula time to soak into your skin overnight, and effectively control sweat and odour the next day.
Wash With Fresh-Smelling Detergent
If you really want to smell good, add pleasant scents to everything that you do. Wash your clothes and bedsheets with a fresh-smelling laundry detergent so that odours dont linger on your skin during the day.
Bath Regularly
It may seem obvious, but regular showers are the best way to remove bacteria, excess oil, and body odour from your skin. Use a good-smelling body wash to that will leave a lasting scent on your skin.
Perfume The Closet
If you want to establish your scent and make it stick, hit your closet with a couple sprays of your favourite fragrance once a week. This gives you a lasting signature scent that isnt overpowering, you can mix and match with other perfumes to give yourself irresistible allure.
Layer Good Smells
Layer skincare products like body wash, and fragrant lotion products to amplify a fresh scent. You can also add the last few drops of perfume to an unscented lotion to make your own. After applying deodorant, add your favourite perfume or cologne on top.
Apply Fragrances To Pulse Points
Applying cologne or perfume to pulse points on your body will help the fragrance to be more effective. It allows your body chemistry to more easily adapt to the fragrance. Pulse points include your wrists, the backs of your ears, and behind your knees.
