Beauty Trends To Wear in 2020

January 20,2020

If there is one thing every new year comes with, it is people feeling and acting all brand new. Many do this by the new look they create to start the year with and make up forms a huge part of this new outlook.

Beauty trends

In 2020, there will be some makeup trends that will dominate the beauty scene. While some looks were worn in 2019, 2020 is looking like the year where most will be unapologetically rocked and we are here for it.

1. Exaggerated eye shapes:

Beauty trends

This look is now a favoured one as we spotted a lot during this past festive season. It looks like it’ll spill and take a stand in 2020.

2. Colourful eyeliners

Beauty trends

This trend did not take the backseat in 2019 and will surely dominate the fashion and beauty space in 2020. To stand out rocking this look, try to do it right by having an understanding of colours and picking contrasting shades for a better and visually appealing effect.

3. Traditional looks

Beauty trends

As much as we love trends, 2020 will show a great love of traditional beauty looks. So expect looks like the classic red lips and winged liner taking the front seat we’ve always known them to occupy.

4. Natural looks:

We know we want you to glow up in 2020 but, the mantra for the year around the beauty space is, ‘The lighter, the better”. Now what that means is that most makeup professionals are encouraging their clients to go for a “more” look as that will be the focus for the season.
