‘Our father is still alive’ -Ajimobi’s family debunk death rumor

Our father is still alive says the daughter in-law of former Oyo state governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

Some media outlet carried the news of the death of senator Ajimobi due to corona virus complication and it became a steaming topic on social media, but his daughte-in-law , Fatima Ganduje-Ajimobi  in a tweet debunked the news of his death .

She said ;

‘Thank you for all the messages but our father is still alive, alhamdulillah. When it is our time we will all die so wait first”

In a press statement disputing the rumour, Bolaji Tunji, Special Adviser, Communication and Strategy to Ajimobi stated; “My attention has been drawn to the rumours circulating on the social media about my principal. Kindly disregard. We, however, continue to pray for him. Thank you all for the show of concern.”
