Jennifer Lopez speaks on break up with Ben Affleck 20 years ago
American entertainer, Jennifer Lopez, has admitted that her separation with Ben Affleck, an American actor, in 2004, nearly 20 years ago, was so agonizing that she thought she would die.
In an interview with show host, Zane Lowe, Lopez made this revelation.
It was so painful after we broke up. Once we called off that wedding 20 years ago, it was the biggest heartbreak of my life. I honestly felt like I was going to die. It sent me on a spiral for the next 18 years where I just couldn’t get it right. But now, 20 years later, it does have a happy ending. It has the most would-never-happen-in-Hollywood ending.
J.Lo, as she is affectionately known, disclosed on Friday that she is set to release her work, “This is Me… Now”, an update on her 2002 release, “This Is Me… Then.”
Recall that the 2004 engagement between the two, was initially called off.
Following a rekindling of their romance in 2021, Lopez and Affleck recently got married.
