Its Mothers Day today!
And, what better way to appreciate your mother for all her love and sacrifices than giving her a treat on this special day?
While one day may not be enough to honour our precious mothers, on this special day, we should shower them with extra love and care in appreciation for all the great and invaluable things they do.

Other than gifts and flowers, the best thing you can do for your mother on her special day, is to spend time together doing fun things that you might not usually do.
Here are some ways to give mama (or a special mother figure/mentor in your life) a treat on this special day.

1. Breakfast in Bed
   Needless to say, cooking is not allowed on Mothers Day; instead wake her up with a tray of breakfast in bed. Even, if breakfast consists of tea, bread and eggs, or a bowl of cereal, mama will enjoy lounging in bed while eating the most important meal of the day. Thank God its Sunday.
2. Go Shopping Together
   What lady doesnt love a good shopping fest? We mostly go shopping by ourselves or with friends but when was the last time you took your mother shopping? Be your mothers s partner for a day, and take her out shopping for some of her favourite things.
3. Spa Day Out
   Pamper her. Spa treatments such as manicure, pedicure, massage, or a beautiful hairdo at the salon are likely to bring a smile to your mothers face. Indulging your mom will make her feel good both inside and out.
4. Watch a Movie Together
   Whether its going to the theatre or curling up on the couch with the Netflix remote in hand, watching a movie is always a nice way to spend time with someone, especially if your mother likes to watch movies. Find a funny movie and laugh it up together.
5. Dinner at a Fancy Restaurant
   Who said candlelit dinners should be just for couples? Make this Mothers Day a date for you two. Pick a nice restaurant, and let your mother enjoy a day where she doesnt have to prepare the meal but enjoys it instead.
6. A Gift to Remember
   Get mama a gift to remember this day by. It could be a body care collection, personalized jewelry, a wristwatch, or a clutch bag. Anything that catches her fancy makes the perfect gift.
7. Make time for a video call
   If youve moved out of your mothers house and cant make it to visit her for Mothers Day, you can still help her feel special with a video call. Even if youve sent a card or gift, a video call will show your mother that you love and care for her.
8. Tell your mom you love her
   Sometimes, it isnt about something you buy or something you do; the most meaningful Mothers Day present is likely to be something you say. Go ahead and tell her now. You never know.
