The filmmaker’s message comes in response to the derogatory term “gold-digger” that has been circulating on social media to describe women who prioritize financial stability in relationships.
TG Omori believes that the decision to choose a partner should be a personal one and not influenced by societal norms or pressure.
In a tweet, he urged women to assess their lives and set standards for their ideal partner.
He wrote, “Your choice of partner is a personal decision. Don’t let them bully you into dating a broke person in the name of gold-digging. Look at your life well and plan your aesthetics.”
