The highly anticipated Web3 Lagos Conference 2.0 revealed its dynamic lineup and cutting-edge innovations during a press conference held yesterday.

The event, set to take place from August 31st to September 2nd, 2023, at The Zone in Gbagada, Lagos, promises to shape the future of blockchain in Africa.

Hosted by Web3bridge in collaboration with Aya, the conference aims to unite the blockchain community in Nigeria and beyond.

The press conference provided an exclusive glimpse into the event’s offerings, igniting discussions about the latest trends, technical insights, and fostering connections that drive innovation.

The roster of distinguished speakers unveiled during the press conference includes visionary figures like Vitalik Buterin, Co-Founder of Ethereum; Kelvin Owocki, Co-Founder of Gitcoin and CEO/Founder of Supermodular; Senator Ihenyen, Lead Partner at Infusion Lawyer; Olatinwo Barakat, Product Marketing Consultant; Toyin Bamidele, Operations Lead/Partner at Consonance Club; Eric Anan, Founder/CEO of Aya; Idris Olubisi, Developer Advocate at Axeler; and Richa Joshi, Co-Founder/Marketing Lead at Push Protocol (previously EPNS). The event’s venue, The Zone, Gbagada Lagos, is all set to host a diverse range of engaging workshops, sessions, keynotes, and panel discussions. T

The conference aims to provide attendees with valuable insights into the evolving landscape of blockchain and Web3 technology.

From technical workshops focusing on smart contract audits and blockchain development to sessions dedicated to the future of Web3 startups, the conference promises a holistic and enriching experience for participants.

Ayodeji Awosika, Founder of Web3bridge, emphasized the collaborative spirit of the blockchain and Web3 ecosystem. “Our conference serves as a hub for developers, investors, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts to connect, learn, and contribute to the growth of this dynamic industry,” said Awosika.

The press conference also highlighted the conference’s dedication to diversity and inclusion, showcasing inclusive programs tailored to empower underrepresented groups in the tech community.

Workshops, networking sessions, and curated content are designed to amplify the voices and presence of individuals who often go unheard.

As the blockchain landscape evolves, the Web3 Lagos Conference has remained adaptable by continuously updating its content and format to provide attendees with up-to-date insights and knowledge about the latest trends.

This approach has led to positive outcomes, with attendees transitioning from participants to contributors and builders.

Web3 Lagos Conference 2.0 is poised to be a milestone event in Africa’s blockchain journey. The event’s role in sparking conversations, fostering collaborations, and positioning the continent as a hub for innovation in the blockchain and Web3 space cannot be underestimated.

The conference’s live streaming will be available.
