Natures Gentle Touch holds hair care workshop for women

In its continued effort to empower women to embrace and ensure adequate care for their natural hair, Natures Gentle Touch recently organised its quarterly natural hair workshop.
The workshop, which was held at Natures Gentle Touch Hair Institute, GRA, Ikeja, provided an opportunity for par¬ticipants eager to learn more about maintaining and managing their natural hair.
Participants received personalised consultations, product demon¬strations, and even a full range of free hair care products to encourage at-home maintenance.

Chijioke Anaele, Natures Gentle Touch Chief Operating Officer, stated that the workshop is the brand’s broader mission to encourage pride in African heritage and beauty.
He added that more women are now embracing their natural hair, but many lack proper knowledge of how to maintain it. So they keep coming up with hair challenges, such as dandruff, dryness, breakage, and more.
With regular enlightenment being provided during the workshop, more women have gained insights into how to care for their hair.
“Essentially, we are trying to educate women on the proper care of their natural hair, as more women in this category are not very familiar with the care process.
“We believe every African woman should celebrate her natural hair, because foreign chemicals and extensions are not originally designed for us, yet we spend fortunes on them.”
“We realised that most women lack confidence in wearing their natural hair openly, which we believe, with education and proper treatment, they can learn to care for and flaunt their natural beauty.
“The workshop’s goal is to demystify natural hair care and make it more accessible. Our mission is to empower women with knowledge. When you treat your hair well, it gives you what you want. That’s the message we’re driving home,” Anaele said.
Natures Gentle Touch is a hair and scalp care brand renowned for its natural hair products, as well as hair institute and salon services.
The brand caters to natural hair, offering products specifically to cater for various hair types and concerns.
