Vincent Olukoya, Victoria Owolabi Launch Game-Changing Fashion Pricing Tool for Designers

September 1,2025

The fashion industry has welcomed a fresh wave of innovation with the debut of a smart pricing calculator, TailorCalc, designed to help fashion designers, tailors, and fashion entrepreneurs price their garments and services fairly and sustainably.

Vincent Ayobami Olukoya

Unveiled on 1st September 2025, the platform is the brainchild of Vincent Ayobami Olukoya, Director of House of Roshe and Provost of Fashion Entrepreneurs Business Academy Limited, and Victoria Oluwakemi Owolabi, Founder and Creative Director of MOVEK Fashion brand.

Over the years, pricing has been one of the most complex hurdles for fashion designers in how they can account for fabric costs, tailoring hours, labor charges, and profit margins without undervaluing craftsmanship.

TailorCalc answers that question directly, equipping users to make informed pricing decisions. Beyond pricing, the tool also enables users to create professional invoices, organize client data, and manage operations efficiently, making it a practical companion for both seasoned professionals and rising talents.

Speaking about the launch, Vincent Ayobami Olukoya emphasized that at House of Roshe and Fashion Entrepreneurs Business Academy Limited, their mission has always been to empower fashion entrepreneurs with both knowledge and tools, noting that TailorCalc is a significant step forward in fostering fair and transparent business practices across the fashion world.

Sharing in this view is his co-innovator, Victoria Oluwakemi Owolabi, who explained that many brilliant designers undervalue their creations because they don’t have a structured system for pricing, and TailorCalc was built to close that gap, offering designers everywhere, from Nigeria to the UK and beyond, a sustainable way to grow their businesses.

Since its launch, the platform has already attracted hundreds of users worldwide, particularly among emerging designers eager to adopt a transparent and sustainable pricing system that will professionalize their pricing. Early feedback from users highlights not just the ease of use but also the confidence it gives them to present their work competitively in local and international markets.

In addition, Industry analysts believe tools like TailorCalc can help strengthen fashion entrepreneurship, especially in regions like Africa, where creative talent is abundant but resources for structured business management are often limited.

By blending creativity with technology, Olukoya and Owolabi believe TailorCalc has the potential to strengthen the economic foundation of fashion entrepreneurship across Africa, the UK, and beyond.

About the Innovators
Vincent Ayobami Olukoya is the Founder of House of Roshe and Provost of Fashion Entrepreneurs Business Academy Limited, a consultancy recognized for training thousands of designers across Africa and internationally. His experience as both a designer and educator has shaped TailorCalc into a solution grounded in the realities of the fashion industry.
Victoria Oluwakemi Owolabi is the Creative Director of MOVEK Fashion, celebrated for standout collections such as Oríkì and Àbísó, which have been showcased in Vanguard Allure.

Her hands-on expertise in design, production, and branding also played a key role in shaping many of TailorCalc features.
