Monday Motivation: Become your own motivator

It seems the motivation we get from people need a little more push from ourselves before it pushes us to greater heights.

This is why  we hear things like ‘become your own motivation’.

A young man attended a conference and the speaker put his bones on fire.

He suddenly got filled with all the beautiful ideas and ways to bring them to reality.

Days letter he went out to get it done but was confronted by several hurdles, he got so many NO’S in a day and that killed his spirit.

He kept trying but it didn’t seem to be working out. He made up his mind and went back to his shells.

He quitted but then what this did to him was given him one assurance “His never going to make it”.

As he thought through the whole idea, while giving himself the genuine and pleasant reason why he had to quit.

It struck him that he was given up too soon. Immediately he said to himself.

“I’m too close to quit now, I have so much ahead of me and quitting now will only give me assurance  of not making it”.

He gave himself reasons he needs to keep going despite the hurdles, he went ahead and achieve much more than he planned for.

Success only begins when we become our own motivation.

Motivation of another can get us started, but the motivation we give ourselves keeps us sane and consistent with our hustles.

Self motivation keeps you going when the fire from that motivational speaker you listened to has faded.

Know that you can do whatever you put your mind too.

Don’t become your own enemy of progress by not motivating yourself.

You are capable of so much more and your only limitation is yourself.

Have a productive and beautiful week?
