5 reasons you should brush thwice a day

June 20,2022
Share:

Have you been struggling with tooth brushing, thwice a day or at least, once?
Here are five well-researched reasons you should overcome that struggle:

Bacteria build-up

Brushing your teeth twice a day effectively kills bacteria in your mouth, allowing it to become clean.

Bacteria, if kept in your mouth for twenty-four hours, damages the enamel of your teeth, weakening the gums and roots and eventually leading to tooth decay.

Furthermore, removing bacteria also eliminates bad breath, allowing you to smile and laugh at any moment.

Saliva production

The nicest thing about saliva is that it provides an extra layer of protection against plaque and germs in your mouth, preventing you from developing cavities.

Brushing your teeth in the evening or before going to bed protects you from bacteria’s destruction while causing you to generate less saliva.

Brushing your teeth in the morning protects you from bad breath by eliminating germs and acid that has accumulated overnight in your mouth.

Prevention of tartar build-up

When you don’t wash your teeth on a daily basis, a substance called Tartar forms on your teeth and won’t go away.

Scraping your teeth, which is done by your dentist, is the only way to get rid of it.

Even yet, if it is not treated, it will lead to a serious gum infection and heavy bleeding from the gums.

It might also be harmful to your general health.

When compared to a normal person, if you smoke or are diabetic, you are at a larger risk of having tartar harm your health.

Protects gum

We may believe that brushing and flossing our teeth cleans and polishes our smiles, but there are many more factors at play.

If we don’t brush our teeth, we risk developing a variety of major health problems.

Plaque, germs, and tartar have all been shown to be harmful to your health.

Protecting your gums as well as your teeth is the most critical thing you can do.
