As part of activities marking this year’s Children’s Day celebration, the Dolly Children Foundation, in partnership with APEX Network Limited, brought smiles to children’s faces as they engaged in various activities.

Themed “In Every Child, There is More” ; the event was aimed to celebrate the potential and capabilities of children while providing them with a platform to showcase their talents and creativity.

Sponsored by APEX Network Limited, about 100 children participated in the event, which was held at Dolly Stars School, a free – tuition run by Dolly Children Foundation in Makogi, Magboro.

It provided entertainment and also served as a platform for children to explore their interests, develop skills and build confidence.

Speaking, Mrs Joy  Alabi-Hundeyin, Head, People and Operations, APEX Network Ltd, represented by Mr Isreal Adedayo stated that the event was put together, to celebrate the inherent potential of every child, and also to showcase the commitment of the organisation in supporting and empowering the younger generation.

“Through initiatives like this event and their comprehensive financial services, Apex Network continues to make a positive impact, fostering a brighter future for the African children. In every child, indeed, there is more waiting to be discovered and celebrated,” she said.

The children partook in diverse activities aimed at entertaining and engaging the children. These include games to foster teamwork and sportsmanship, song rendition, drama presentation, and choreography.

Creative minds amongst them also unleashed their talents during the arts and crafts session, where children expressed themselves through painting, drawing, and crafting.

The children were joined by staff of APEX Network Ltd, creating an atmosphere of collaboration and fun.

Gift packs were also distributed to all the children, adding to the joy and excitement of the event.
