A new year presents a world of possibilities for travel. But with too many destinations to choose from, making a choice as to where to travel to can be paralysing. But the beauty of travel is that every place has reasons that make it worth visiting. So, here’s a list of destinations we think are particularly worth visiting in 2025.

Paris, France

France is always an appealing European getaway option. Brimming with heritage attractions, glorious natural landscapes, walkable cities and world-famous cuisines, there’s something to entice every type of traveller. When you arrive this City of Light, do not forget to visit its stunning Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, and charming Seine River.

Kyoto, Japan

This historic city, renowned for its seamless blend of ancient traditions and modern innovations, has got a variety of attractions and events. Prepare to experience the beauty of traditional Japan, with its temples, gardens, and vibrant culture in Kyoto.

Cape Town, South Africa

Cape Town is home to iconic mountain ranges, stunning natural wonders, thrilling landscapes and ocean vistas. This city offers no shortage of adventures. Known as the adventure capital of South Africa, the lifestyle of locals and visitors alike centres around the outdoors and an active lifestyle.

Enjoy the stunning natural beauty of Table Mountain, beautiful beaches, and vibrant city life in Cape Town.

Queenstown, New Zealand

Known as the adventure capital of the world, Queenstown is home to a range of adventures. From the world’s first and most famous bungy jumps— the Kawarau Bridge Bungy, to jet boat thrills and the white-water rapids of the Shotover River.

Go skydiving and take in the epic views of the Southern Alps and surrounding lakes or explore the rocky gorges and creek crossings by quad bike.

Rome, Italy

If Rome isn’t on your bucket list yet, then you should begin to consider it. The Eternal City is a truly special place. With its rich history and gorgeous architecture, breathtaking churches fountains and piazzas, it has something for everyone. Whether you are looking for delicious food, fabulous shopping, or exciting entertainment, you will find it all in Rome.

Istanbul, Turkey

Istanbul has it all: over 2,500 years of history, culture, and traditions, amazing landmarks, vibrant nightlife, exciting cuisines and breathtaking views. This transcontinental metropolis is a fast-paced cultural melting pot you can’t afford to miss. The city also has incredible architecture like the Hagia Sophia. From the Grand Bazaar to the serene Bosphorus, Istanbul has everything.

Santorini, Greece

Looking to enjoy picturesque whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches, and stunning sunsets? Then add Santorini to your bucket list.

Its wild volcanic landscape, rugged cliffs, wild nature, and beautiful shores, combined with its rich history and traditions, make the island the gem of Greece
