Food combinations you should strictly avoid consuming

Eating the right kind of food at the right time is what helps you attain and maintain good health.

However, there are some food combinations that you should avoid!

Alcohol with sweets

One of such food combinations that can do blunders is having sweets with alcohol. Alcohol tends to convert the sugar into saturated fats, which can get easily accumulated in the body.

Eggs and fried meat

One of the bad food combinations for digestion is eggs and fried meat. ried meat like bacon along with eggs is a combo that is loaded with protein and your digestive system may take a long time to digest it. Replace one of them with fresh fruits or vegetables.

Cheese and beans

The food combo of beans and cheese can leave you feeling gassy and bloated. It is best to keep beans and dairy separate for easier digestion.

Water with food

Water along with meals is one of the worst combinations. This is because water tends to dilute stomach acids, which are essential for digesting the food that you eat.

This can get difficult for your tummy and make it work more to digest the food.

Fries and burger

This may make you wonder because most burger joints give fries along with the burger. But it is not so because this combo is as wrong as it could get.

Both fries and burger patty are deep fried food items, which can make your blood sugar levels very low. Low blood sugar levels will make you tired and lethargic.

Soda drink with pizza

Another combo that most fast food chains offer to its customers, soda and pizza is a very bad choice as far as your health is concerned.

Pizza is loaded with starch and proteins, which slows down digestion and high amounts of sugar from cola further makes you digestion sluggish.

Fruits with yoghurt

When the acid from fruits comes in contact with the protein in yoghurt, it not only affects the digestive fibres but it also makes it toxic. This toxic food combination can lead to food allergies too.

Fruits after meals

One of the worst food mistakes that anyone can make is eating fruits after a meal. Fruits and other food items do not go well with each other.

This is because fruits digest quickly, but other components in a meal like protein, fats or carbohydrates take long to digest. If the fruit sugar stays in the stomach for longer, it could ferment and cause tummy troubles.

Banana and milk

Milk and banana is one of the most toxin-forming food combinations as it can cause heaviness. It may also make your mind slow and your body lethargic.

If you wish to enjoy an occasional banana smoothie, make sure you add green cardamom, cinnamon powder or nutmeg powder to aid digestion.

Aerated drinks with mint

There have been many videos doing the rounds on the Internet that show the reaction between mint and cola. Just think if the same thing happens inside your tummy.

This is because mint and cola can cause excessive bloating and gas, which can make you very uncomfortable.

Nuts and olive oil

Another food combo that can make you sick is nuts and olive oil. The fats in the oil and protein in the nuts do not go well together and may cause hindrance to the digestion process.

Juice and cereal

If you are thinking that a glass of juice along with your breakfast cereal is going to give you much-needed energy for the day, well, that may not be true.

The acids in fruit juices like orange juice hinder the breaking down of carbohydrates by affecting the enzyme activity.
